Los Narradores Cubanos Tambien Cantan BOLEROS!
Santiago de Cuba, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) The impact of a genre of Cuban music in the work of writers emerges in the book Cuban narrators also sing boleros, circulating in the country today. Presented at the recently concluded Book Fair and the International Trova Festival, the text written by essayist Deisy Fernandez Cue draws the attention of fans and researchers, with arguments showing that musical influence.
In many novels and stories by Cuban authors, the scholarly narrative explains the concept of the bolero, with categories among which stands the idol of worship, by the bonds between performers and fans in the text.
According to Taidys García, professor at the University of Oriente, in this eastern city, it is one of the few approaches to musical aspects from a textual, discursive, both converge on pages where cultural expressions.
Garcia said that despite the fruitful relationship between literature and music, writers and literary critics do not usually dabble in artistic discourse of sound fields and growers of these either approach the written word.
Published by Oriente editorial house, the volume ends with the recognition of this appropriation of resources and substrate sentimental bolero as capital of a country, a continent and beyond in a rapprochement of peoples.
